Mark Meckler on Newsmax: "The mainstream media has no empathy for average Americans"
One thing is clear from the media coverage of the spontaneous grassroots uprisings against the COVID-19 lockdowns: members of the media aren't losing their paychecks -- and they might know even know anyone who is.
"When you watch the mainstream media talking about how this shutdown is so great, every one of them has paychecks," Convention of States Action President Mark Meckler said in an interview with Newsmax. "You don't hear people who are struggling, living paycheck to paycheck, so they're glad to be shut down. I don't think there is much empathy for regular American people."
