My family has been spending a couple hours every few nights to play board games. Right now we are playing through the T.I.M.E Stories series. For those not familiar with it it's a cooperative board game in which you have to travel back in time to solve mysteries. It's a pretty cool concept as you only have so much time before you get sucked back to the present and have to start again. But each time you go back you know more than you did the last time and can refine your actions to get further and further towards the goal. I'm sure some people might find it a bit repetitive but my family has been loving it.
This morning I played a video game called "We were here" (a free game on Steam) with a friend in which you both play as a character trapped in a building where your actions affect the other. But since you're in separate areas you have to be in constant communication with each other to describe what you're seeing and help each other solve various puzzles. It was a short game and had some bugs that forced us to restart once. But for free it made for a fun morning.
Sound like fun games. I'm enjoying working jigsaw and crossword puzzles since I live alone. They are great pastimes.
My twin sister and I have a Big Round Number birthday coming up. She's in Delaware (along with most of my extended family) and I'm in Texas. We're planning to do an on-line murder mystery party. Other people have said these are fun so we'll see how it goes!
