Texas, known for it's intolerance for government overreach and rugged individualism, is only a stone's throw away from Arkansas. I was born in Fayetteville when my father was attending UofA. At the age of 3, my family moved to west Texas. I grew up in a small community named Snyder, ninety miles south of Lubbock. I was shocked to read the article above. It appears that local authorities are overreaching, not just governors. What can patriotic Arkansans do if this happens in our local communities? Let start brainstorming this issue of government overreach in our local communities.

We aren't worried here in Arkansas. Yes we might have some problems, but we are fully armed here. We have a wonderful police that we honor & our county is well policed also. Bring it on, we are ready. Love ya all.

I live in Newton County. Our sheriff wasn't aware of what is really going on. I talked to him on the phone 2 days ago and asked him if he'd look at a package of material I would give him. He agreed. I delivered it yesterday. We have to bring our sheriffs around to what's going on. They are the chief law enforcement official in the county because they are elected. He didn't know about Sheriff Mack and the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officer's Association, so I included a link to it my cover letter. We need the sheriffs on our side.
